About Chelsea-NEW

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper with White
  • Housetrained: No

Name:  Chelsea

Sex:  Female

Approx. DOB:  April 2009

Weight:  Approx. 26 lbs. and growing

Coat Color:  Gray and White

Eye Color:  Blue

Energy Level:  Medium to high. As a pupster, Chelsea loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.

Personality:  Chelsea is very affectionate and loves her attention. She's a leaner - will come up to you and lean in where ever she can for attention and pets. She is just a hoot! She can be a drama queen and squeal at high pitches but the flip side of that is she is quite a talker and loves to woo woo. She is precious, sweet, loveable and playful. She does do some nipping but we are working on correcting that. She clearly was never corrected as a pup.

Good with Dogs:  Yes.

Good with Cats:  Not tested yet but probably not as Siberians are notorious for their high prey drive and typically kill cats, rabbits, chickens, birds, squirrels, opossums, etc.

Good with Children:  Siberians are typically good with children of all ages and the only reason we would not list them as not good with kids is because they may be too energetic and bouncy and knock over a toddler.

Housetrained:  Not quite yet but doing really well for her age.
Crate Trained:  Chelsea does fine in her crate but has had some accidents in it. She will get vocal when she wants out but normally just hangs out.
Rides Well in Car:  Yes.

Leash Trained:  Does pretty well on leash with not much pulling

Basic Obedience:  Working on sit and other basic commands
