Kia is an energetic, loving Husky Shepherd mix. Her guestimated DOB is January 2003 and she is fully house trained. She doesn't like crates, but isn't destructive at all and does very well in the house. She loves her outside time too! She loves to run around the yard as well as lay down and watch the birds fly by. She will definitely need a fenced in yard or someone who LOVES TO EXERCISE! Right now she is living with three doggie siblings and she gets along ok. Ideally, she would do better as an only dog or in a home with one other dog that is submissive, because Kia's a little bossy. Due to this bossiness she will need to have someone who has a stronger will than her! She loves to hang out with her foster Mom. She doesn't like to be right on top of you, but will lay down on the floor next to you to keep you company. Kia is super smart and knows several commands; sit, speak, shake, down. She loves to please and I'm sure would be a quick study to any more "tricks" you'd like to teach her. She would make a great addition to any home where she can be the center of attention and is able to share all her doggie love with her forever home. She has not been tested with cats and I don't think she would do well with them. She shouldn't be around small children, but I think would do fine with older ones.
