Legba (leg-bah) is a handsome young man, approximate DOB of May 2005 and 48 lbs. His coat is black and white and he has bi-eyes, one blue and one brown. He's named after the African guide spirit, Elegua/Legba, a mischievous trickster and keeper of the cross- roads.

He's affectionate with people and likes to sing for them when he's out for a ride. He also likes his canine housemates. Legba especially enjoys badgering the girls, several of whom fuss and cluck at him like little hens. He takes it all in stride.

A rather rugged outdoorsy type, Legba often has to be coaxed into the house at night, but snuggles up in his crate quietly once inside. He is not potty trained, but working on it. So far, he hasn't opted to stay inside loose long enough to determine if he would get into mischief. He does like to dig in the yard.
