Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Miss Faye is a darling little girl who loves her people and is very eager to please her people. She is pretty submissive and a velcro dog at the same time. She loves to swoop in to your legs and sit for kisses, pets and lovin'. Miss Faye is a black and white blue eyed female. She weighs about 30 lbs. but still needs to gain some weight as she was pretty emaciated when she came to us. Her guestimated DOB is February 2007. Faye came to us with literally no concept of living in a home but she has adapted very well. She is learning house manners quickly and working on basic obedience. She is crate trained but not necessarily full proof on her house training at this time. She loves to snuggle up on a couch and relax and catch a nap. Faye is very playful with not only her foster siblings but people as well. She loves to run and romp in the back yard and if she can’t find someone to play with her, she will entertain herself with a good stick. She does dig holes and will need to be watched for digging under a fence. Her foster Mom is hotwired so she doesn't challenge the fence now but has done so in the past. Faye has not been tested with cats but doesn't display a high prey drive. She has not been exposed to children either but we think she will do well with kids. The only issue may be her exuberance and zest for life and unintentionally knocking into a toddler. We feel that Miss Faye will excel both as an only dog with all the attention lavished on her as well as having another canine playmate. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
