Sex: Male Approx. DOB: March 2000 Weight: Approx. 48 lbs. Coat Color: Black and White Eye Color: Parti-Eyed, One brown and one brown with a speck of blue Energy Level: Low but getting better! Hawk enjoys sniffing all the wonderful smells in the back yard. He has his a couple of foster siblings that he will play and wrestle with and then he goes back to exploring the back yard. Personality: Hawk is very laid back and peaceful. He loves to be inside and hangs out in his crate observing the activities of the house. If you pet him, he lifts his back leg and rolls over so you can give him a full belly rub. He isn't much for kisses but will lay in your lap and soak up all the attention you will give him. It doesn't seem that he received a lot of attention prior to coming to us because sometimes he will stiffen up but then he realizes that love isn't so bad. He's very gentle in everything he does. Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested yet but probably not Good with Children: Probably but has not been around them in our program Housetrained: Yes with periodic accidents Crate Trained: Yes Rides Well in Car: Yes Leash Trained: Does great on leash Basic Obedience: Working on sit but he's a little stubborn. He doesn't want to put that butt down. He has perfect house manners and has never been destructive. He does enjoy a Nylabone in his crate. Hawk has tested positive for heartworms and will complete his treatment prior to being adopted, on and about July 9, 2008.
