Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Name: Roslin, known as Roz
Sex: Female Approx. DOB: April 2007 Weight: Approx. 45 lbs. Coat Color: Red and White Eye Color: Blue Energy Level: Medium to high. Roz absolutely loves zooming around the back yard with her foster siblings. She is on the go all the time. That is when she is outside only. Inside the house, she is pretty calm and laid back. Personality: Roz is very sweet and and growing more and more affectionate in her foster home. She was a bit skittish at first but has warmed up to both the dogs and the humans in her foster home. She does fantastic on leash and in a crate. Roz is a bit more mischievous around the house than her partner Rush as she enjoys a good piece of mail, shoe, or whatever else might be close by. She will not do it in front of you, but wait until you leave the room to start her hunt! She is becoming more and more a snuggle bug over time as well and actually is giving kisses now. Roz has dug and jumped out of chain link fencing but has not challenged her Foster Mom's 6' privacy fence that is hotwired at the bottom so we prefer that she go to a home with the same or one with lots of leash walks. Good with Dogs: Does well with both male and females. She and Rush were found at large together and are very close. It would be great if we can place them together and will offer a discounted adoption fee to anyone who may be interested in them both. Good with Cats: Not tested yet but probably not good Good with Children: Probably but has not been around them in our program Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Rides Well in Car: Yes Leash Trained: Does pretty well on leash Basic Obedience: Roz knows sit and is working on other basic commands. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
