Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Male : : Young : : Medium
Name: Rush
Sex: Male Approx. DOB: April 2007 Weight: Approx. 60 lbs. Coat Color: Red and White Eye Color: Blue Energy Level: Medium. Rush enjoys playing with the other foster dogs in his foster home but is also very content to hang on the back deck and observe play. Personality: Rush is very sweet and laid back. He does fantastic on leash and in a crate. He is content to lay around the house but ready to pick up and go too. He enjoys loving and attention and will sit by your side as long as you will love on him. Rush has dug and jumped out of chain link fencing but has not challenged his Foster Mom's 6' privacy fence that is hotwired at the bottom so we prefer that he go to a home with the same or one with lots of leash walks. Good with Dogs: Does well with both male and females. He and Roz were found at large together and are very close. It would be great if we can place them together and will offer a discounted adoption fee to anyone who may be interested in them both. Good with Cats: Not tested yet but probably not good Good with Children: Probably but has not been around them in our program Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Rides Well in Car: Yes Leash Trained: Does pretty well on leash Basic Obedience: Rush knows sit and is working on other basic commands. He is not destructive in his foster home but has snagged a couple of minor things off the counter when he first came. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
