Energy Level: Tallie is a very laid back girl and just hangs out around the house. She doesn't do a lot of playing iwth the other dogs but she sure has a lot of energy and pep in her step come dinner time!
Personality: Tallie walked into the house like she's been here all her life. She did have accidents in the house at first but now goes outside for potty breaks when needed. She has found a spot on the couch and loves to curl up and hang out there. She sleeps in the bedroom with her Foster Mom at night. She has never been destructive in the house and has full privileges. She doesn't have any interest in chew toys but loves a treat and dinner time. Tallie is just very laid back and you don't even know she's in the house. She will make a great new family member for a more laid back environmnent.
Good with Dogs: Yes. Tallie will do fine with other dogs but not if your looking for a playmate for your existing dog as she really is not a player. She will do great as an only dog as well.
Good with Cats: Not tested yet but may do well. Her Foster Mom hasn't seen much prey drive in her.
Good with Children: Probably but has not been around them in our program
Housetrained: Yes
Crate Trained: Tallie has never been crated in her Foster Home since she is not destructive and does fine with the other dogs. With her laid back and easy demeaner, I expect she will crate fine if needed.
Rides Well in Car: Yes
Leash Trained: Yes. She does no pulling on leash.Basic Obedience: Tallie knows sit and does so even quicker for a treat! She is working on other basic commands but has great house manners.
