SSR is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Nash Correctional Institution and are proudly participating in their 'A New Leash On Life' prison training program. Natdia is one of our foster dogs that completed training and she graduated on April 10, 2009. During her time at Nash, Natdia learned sit, shake with both paws, down and rollover. She had fun with the agility course, which includes walking the bench, climbing an A-Frame, jumping through a tire, placing on a pedestal and then doing her sit, shakes and down.
Name: Natdia
Sex: Female Approx. DOB: September 2005 Weight: Approx. 45 lbs. Coat Color: Black and White Eye Color: Parti-Eyed, 1 Blue and 1 Brown with a spec of Blue. Energy Level: Medium. Natdia does enjoy good play with some of the foster dogs in her foster home but will go off on her own and bask in the sun in the back yard. She is pretty laid back for the breed. Personality: Natdia is absolutely charming and quite a bundle of sweet and cuteness! She is bouncy and happy but not too over the top with energy. She came to us from a seizure situation in Denver, NC and was quite scared and skittish and she will do the same when adopted. She will need time to warm up to her new envrionment and gain your trust but once she does trust you, she is most loving and affectionate. Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested yet but probably not as Siberians are notorious for their high prey drive and typically kill cats, rabbits, birds, squirrels, opossums, etc. Good with Children: Siberians are typically good with children of all ages and the only reason we would not list them as not good with kids is because they may be too energetic and bouncy and knock over a toddler. Natdia will do best in a home with older children as smaller children might be too rambunctious for her due to her initial skittishness. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes but she does still have accidents in her crate periodically. Rides Well in Car: Yes Leash Trained: Does pretty well on leash with not much pulling but will bounce from side to side.
Basic Obedience:
