Siberian Husky (long coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Name: Lady
Sex: Female Approx. DOB: September 2004 Coat Color: Red and White Eye Color: Blue Eyes Temperaments: Great personalities, easy going, very loveable. Never have bothered or destroyed anything in our home. They do not bark only if someone comes to the front door. They just sit and watch otherwise. They do not bark to go out, they walk by the door or walk around you, if you ask them if they want to go out they will go to the door. They are crate trained, they sleep and eat in their crates. I do not close the doors on the crates as they go in and out themselves when they want. We have no bedding in the crates as when they were younger they use to find the littlest piece of string and start pulling it out. They eat once a day and we have just taken them off Purina One dog food and put them on the Purina Beneful which they really enjoy. They also enjoy ice cubes. We have never fed them table food and are in good health and our Veterinarian gives them their annual check up for worms or skin conditions and their rabies shots. Lady receives 2 cups a day dog food and Sadie receives about 1 1/cups she is not a big eater. They usually eat around 3 to 3:30pm. Sadie takes longer to eat then Lady. We have about a ½ acre of our property fenced in with a 5’ chain link fence for them to run and play in with trees and shade in one area and open space in another. Lady likes it outside more than Sadie, but at night they sleep in the house in their crates. They do not like to stay out when it is raining. We have a little alcove off our living room, which is where their crates are, as they like to be by you and be petted. We do not have them in a cellar, which to me is like being in a dungeon. They are our family and are in our living space with us but we have never had them sleep in our bedroom. Their crates are their beds. They go out in morning when either my husband or I let them out. They usually wait for you to get up, if they have to go out before we get up they make noise at our bedroom door and hit with their paws. After they go out they come to the door to come in and get their treats, which are usually about 3 different ones. They only get treats once a day in the morning when they first go out. It breaks our heart to have to give them up but my health has become an issue and we need to move and cannot take them with us. We need to know a loving and caring family can take them. They are sisters from the same litter and have never been separated from one another and I am hoping some family will take both of them, as they are happy with one another and to separate them would sadden them greatly and be so lonely for them for one another.
