Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Name: Sydney Sex: Female Approx. DOB: October 2004 Weight: Approx. 50 lbs. Coat Color: Dilute Black and White
Eye Color:
Parti-Eyed, 1 Blue and 1 both Brown and Blue.
Personality: Sydney is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She is very much a house dog and loves to lay on the couch and relax. She goes outside to do her business and then rushes right back in. She is v ery sweet and loves her attention and belly rubs but not much for giving up kisses. She is a drama queen and more than sentsitive! She will squeal if you take her by her collar to try to lead her somewhere. Her back end shakes all the time as though she's nervous so we had her hips x-rayed and they are fine - no signs of hip dysplasica but she does have very shallow sockets. Sydney will enjoy a nice calm household to call her own.
Good with Dogs:
Sydney is fine with all the dogs in her foster home but she doesn't seek play with them. She will do well with other canines in the house but will probably prefer to be the only spoiled child.
Good with Children: Yes. Siberians are typically good with children of all ages and the only reason we would not list them as not good with kids is because they may be too energetic and bouncy and knock over a toddler. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes but she can pop the crate door if she wants out. Sydney is not currently crated in her foster home because she is house trained and not destructive. Rides Well in Car: Yes Leash Trained: Does pretty well on leash with not much pulling Basic Obedience: Sydney does know sit and stay.
