Siberian Husky (medium coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Medium
Miss Gurt is a sweet Girl that would love a nice quiet home where she can lay in front of the couch and be with her people. She likes to play and run but in small spurts and on her terms! She is a very independent Girl yet loves to cuddle and get her loving. She does not appreciate the curiosity, playfulness and exuberance of her younger foster siblings, however, so an older male sibling may be best for her. Gurt just wants to find her spot and chill out. Gurt is a black and white female with bi-eyes (one brown and one blue). She weighs about 55 lbs and her guestimated DOB is April 1996. Gurt has not shown much interest in toys. Again, she just wants to be with her people and take in all that’s going on. She does enjoy dinnertime and treats though! She walks well on leash, does not need to be crated as she is not destructive at all. Gurt is wonderful with people of all ages, however has not been tested with cats. She also loves a ride in a car. With her age, she is experiencing incontinence and will need to stay on meds for that. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
