Siberian Husky : : Male : : Young : : Large
Juno is a sweet boy that prefers human attention and loving to doggie play. He does well with other dogs but it does take him some time to warm up to them before he is comfortable playing. He will sit for days taking in all the pets his Foster Mom will give him. Juno is a stunning gray and white male Siberian with bi-eyes (meaning one eye is blue and one is brown.) His approximate DOB is January 2005 and he weighs about 48 lbs. Juno does great with kids of all ages. He has not been tested with cats however. He has been known to bust out of his crate but is also not crated all the time because he is not destructive while out and is house trained. He rides well in a car and walks pretty well on leash. He has not challenged the fence nor has he been caught digging holes in the back yard. He is pretty tolerant of being brushed but will let you know when the fun is over for him! Juno has had one seizure in our program but has been fine since then with no re-occurrences. We hope that it stays that way for him. Seizures are increasingly common in Siberians. Some have one and that's it, however, others may develop into more frequent seizures. Juno may excel and do best as an only dog but will do well with another female canine. He may do best in a home where he does not have to be crated as well. All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
